Our community is just the best. The 12th Annual Quilt show was a great success with 174 visitors, over $1600.00 raised to help the animals at CCHS. A special thank you to Joanne Moros who takes the lead role in this event year after year. She and many volunteers put so many hours into the quilt show to make it the success it is. The quilts on display at the show are voted on by the visitors and here are the top three quilts:
#1 – Northern Lights Stars by Maggie Dupuis
#2 – Petal Play by Millie Little
#3 – Baltimore Album by June Michaelson-Haataja
Special thanks to the Portage Quilt House, the Portage Quilters quilting group, Superior Stitchers quilting guild, Roger & Teresa Woods and other area quilters for making this great event possible. Also thanks to all the volunteers for their time and effort and for making this event so enjoyable. All proceeds go to help the animals at CCHS.
