Bo and Lulu are relocating to Northwest Indiana because their human is moving. Both Bo and Lulu were adopted as kittens from CCHS; Bo in August 2011 and Lulu in June 2012. Although Lulu was a bit apprehensive of Bo at first, they are now all but inseparable. Bo got his new name from his full name, Hiru Botak, which means “three boots” in Euskara; Lulu has a moon-shaped white spot on her belly against her otherwise, black coat, so her name comes from “luna.” Bo and Lulu have spent their days in Houghton chasing each other, wrestling (Lulu holds her own!), and peacefully gazing out the windowsill of their on-campus apartment. Bo is vocal, cuddly cat who prefers to tuck his human into bed by curling up, and Lulu is fierce, playful, and independent with a purr that imitates a gentle roar. Bo and Lulu are loved by so many Michigan Tech students and staff, and they are so thankful that CCHS took care of them for their short stays there. They’ll surely miss all of the attention they got from students, but they’re looking forward to a new adventure!
