Let’s find out! The Copper Country Humane Society is please to announce our 2nd Annual Cutest Pet Photo Contest. The contest will start on April 11, 2015, (National Pet Day) and run until April 30, 2015 (National Adopt a Shelter Animal Day).
This year there are three photo categories: Cat, Dog, Other
The contest will award prizes to entrants whose pictures are voted to the top three places in each category by the contest viewers through donation voting. The top prize in each category is a 12″x14″ canvas print of the winning photo. In addition, all photos that have at least $25 in donations will be eligible to win the Sponsor’s Choice Award. All prizes donated by Homestead Graphics & Design.
Each $1 donation counts as a vote for your favorite photo. All proceeds will help with the cost of caring for the homeless and neglected pets awaiting adoption at the Copper Country Humane Society in Houghton, Michigan. 100% of the money needed for vet care, spay/neuter and physical needs for the 900 animals CCHS cares for annually is raised through fundraising events like this.
There are two ways you can participate.
* Enter the contest beginning April 11, 2015 at 8:00 AM (EST). Upload your photo, add your contact info and your caption then vote, vote, vote!! Be sure to promote your photo to friends and family through e-mail and social media. The more votes you have, the better your chance to win.
* Vote for one of the photos already submitted.
Entry into the contest and voting are open to everyone.
