You can also bring donations to our facility in person. Items can be left in the grey shed next to the front door, and monetary donations can be brough during our open hours. If you have been contacted recently, please reach out to us at 906-487-9560 and LEAVE A MESSAGE, message us on our Facebook page, or email us at manager@cchumanesociety.com.
If you have been approached recently about donating a basket for our basket sweepstakes, this is likely legitimate, but only if it came from one of our board members or members of management. The following people are approved to solicit donations:

If you have any concerns, feel free to ask for ID! We will not be offended, and in fact we appreciate that you care enough to make sure you are talking to an appropriate person.
We appreciate your generosity so much and want to make sure that your support goes where you meant it to go.
One other note: we do have a big project coming up that we will be asking for donations for, but this will be announced fairly soon. Again, only the people above should be soliciting for donations for projects large and small, fundraisers, etc.
*It is totally fine for anyone to encourage people to make monetary donations to our general fund or donate items we have expressed a need for on our website or social media. We encourage businesses to get in touch with us if anyone not on the board or in management makes a request.
