Mark your calendar – On Sunday, April 15th at 1pm, CCHS is honored to host a FREE dog training workshop featuring Dr. Sue Kapla. The workshop will be at the CCHS Animal Shelter in Houghton, rain or shine. Dr. Kapla will be demonstrating (using shelter dogs) actual hands-on positive training techniques and show you how easy it is to train any dog. Whether it is a shelter dog or your own pet, these training techniques can help transform your dog into a well adjusted and well behaved canine companion. Dr. Kapla will use shelter dogs to demonstrate great training techniques. (In effort to provide as much training information as possible without distractions from other dogs not being trained, we ask that you DO NOT take your own dog to the workshop).
If you love dogs and want to learn more about positive training and communicating with your canine friend, this is going to be a great opportunity for you to learn more from an expert in dog training and behavior. You don’t want to miss it!
