It was inevitable, working at the Copper Country Humane Society, that I would eventually find a dog that would adopt me. I found it in Sabaka in the winter of 2005. She was a puppy then, and is now full grown, but she is still as energetic as ever. She blossomed when we got her sister, Puffin, another rescue from a near by shelter. They are the closest of buds. Now we are in Phoenix, and both dogs are enjoying the sun, supervised pool visits, stealing comfy spots from our cats (also rescues) and being hams for the camera.
