Buddy and his two brothers and sister were left in a field in Pelkie to die. A passerby heard the little pups, only hours old, and brought them to CCHS. From there, we picked them up and had them overnight until they could be transferred to a Pit bull mommy to nurse them. After weeks of worrying about my little babies, they came back to us! They are now eight weeks old and mind you very healthy, playful pups…Me and my daughter Maile, brought them to CCHS to meet with potential new families. Buddy, my favorite little puppy was acting very different…He was clinging to me just like a little baby. He would not let me put him down. At this point I knew I couldn’t let him go…I decided to adopt him. Sure wish I could adopt all four special puppies, but have to share the joy with others. Buddy found a forever place in my heart!
SPECIAL THANKS to my daughter MAILE for doing a super job in fostering these babies…Don’t think anyone else could have been better suited in the care of these pups…
I believe this will be your first “Happy Tail’s” adoption story that is written before the official adoption! 🙂
